EFFECTIVE [FILL ON PUBLISH] · LAST UPDATED 2026-08-16 · ADULT EDITION

Draft — not yet in force This policy is written against what the app actually collects, but the operator details and effective date below are unfilled and it has not been reviewed by counsel. It must not be linked from an app store listing until both are done.

EdUnlock ("we", "us") helps you earn your own recreational screen time by answering study questions, and holds you to limits you set for yourself. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and your choices.

1. Who this policy covers

This release of EdUnlock is for adults governing their own devices. Only adults create accounts: at sign-up we ask for a date of birth and block accounts for anyone under 18 (a neutral age gate).

EdUnlock does not currently offer child or family profiles, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it. Should family features launch in future, this policy will be replaced by an edition that describes them, and material changes will be communicated to you.
